Lol, what is there to debate? As usual you guys are smoking your own dope. They create a phony outrage and you hyperventilate about it. Rinse and repeat.

Republicans have been knocking people off of voter rolls for ages. Spoiler alert! They're almost always valid voters who are likely to vote for Dems. So now Trump has merged this with his "I can never lose unless they cheated" bullsh**, so that they can have a pretext to try to make a mess of the election if he loses. Again.

In this case, of the 1600 purged voters, the majority were U.S. citizens who forgot to check the "citizen" box on a poorly designed DMV form (a.k.a. "suspected illegals", cue scary music). It's the kind of thing that is easily corrected, but purging someone in the weeks before an election shafts them. As intended. Which is why they eventually made a law to prevent that.

Lower courts all agreed this was B.S., but thankfully we have a corrupt Supreme Court to swoop in and save the day for Trump! Again. Go team!!!

I'm not constitutionally sure about that. I don't know that there's a legal basis for them to remain in office once their terms run out and there is a constitutional procedure for electing President and Vice President directly by whomever controls the House for the former and the Senate for the latter.
