Breon Pass
“It’s been a great journey here. I can’t thank NC State enough for what they’ve done for me here.”
“It’s my last time in this arena. I just tried to play the best I could. I thank God that my shots were falling in today. I’m happy for that.”
“The culture here is already set. We’ve got good guys who’ve set the culture here, for example me, MOC, [Jayden Taylor], and guys like that. The culture here is tough. It’s a winning culture, even though the season isn’t how it’s supposed to go right now. At the end of the day, you’re supposed to play hard every night and do what you’re supposed to do to win.”
Michael O’Connell
“It’s been everything. The coaches took a chance on me in the portal, and ever since I got here, they’ve supported me and helped me get better. It’s been a great time here.”
“It feels special. It’s been a tough season for everyone, up and down. To come out here one more time in front of the fans, especially with my brothers I’ve been competing with all year, and play well and solid to give us a chance to win, it feels great.”
“I want to say thanks for everything. It’s been a crazy couple of years. I appreciate all the support they’ve given us throughout our whole run. We’ve had our ups and downs, but they’ve been with us, so I appreciate that.”
Dontrez Styles
“I didn’t want to go out on a loss. I just came out and tried to compete at my highest level.”
“It’s my last season. I wanted to go out there and have a chance at some good news, so we’ll see.”
“It’s meant the world. It’s been an up-and-down journey. Going back to my freshman and sophomore years at North Carolina, it didn’t work out for me, then Georgetown. It’s been a unique journey, but I thank God for putting me in a position to go to three great schools. Having that opportunity, I’m blessed, and I thank God every day for it.”
