"This bill requires individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote in federal elections.

Can't and won't be implemented by November. It'll get vetoed anyway. Now by the 2028 elections, sure.
Shouldn't this be happening anyway? And you wonder why so many people question our elections…

Sure it should be happening. But to try and implement this in 4 months? Won't work.

We wanted IDs to vote, now it's prove citizenship to vote.

Again, I'm on board with it, but 4 months isn't enough time to suddenly have milllions scrambling to retrieve passports/ birth certificates.

You aren't supposed to be legally registered unless you are a citizen... there is nothing to implement, other than to not let people vote illegally.

Tough concept to digest for some.

Sure, but everybody would need to re-register to vote correct?

Happening by November?
Ok, that's fine by me…. If you really want to vote, you will figure out how to register, again!!

People are capable and very resilient. Have faith in your fellow man!!

That's the point. 100-150+ million to re-register in 4 months, no way.

How long have we been messing with this Real ID mess? Imagine that in 4 months.

That's why this specific bill should've been brought up sooner, or input with a realistic timeline. Like others have said, won't pass before Nov anyway.

This is the difference in people like me and other Repub's. The Republican Party has had its moments to get things done. They have chosen to sit on the sidelines and complain.

Good post, Were….
The RINO's were too busy worrying about Russia Collusion and undermining Trump to pass something so easy that everyone should want in having fair elections and only citizen's voting. Look at all Trump accomplished with even his own party against him. Imagine what they could have done if they actually cared about the country like the people do.

They had Obamacare defeated until that jerk John McCain voted against repealing it which tied the Senate at 49 each and the bill was dead. Another act of Treason by McCain.

This was never planned to be passed before 2024 because Schumer will not bring it up, just like he wouldn't bring up the border bill the House passed last January. They want illegals voting. Rinos want illegals for cheap labor. The swamp needs to be drained of politicians and bureaucrats completely or we are done as a Republic.

2 things:

1. Hunter isn't pushing for Joe to stay in because of his legal troubles-he knows that whoever the replacement is will take care of him. Hunter is pushing for Joe to stay because he needs the Big Guy to make his business model work a little bit longer
2. Wouldn't the Real ID solve citizen/non citizen proof of voting issue?

Real ID would, but that deadline is in May 2025. Can't bump it up now.

Besides, let's get real. We could have retina scans at every polling place to solve the "issue", and if Trump loses it will still be because of fraud. Because he is the undisputed king of whiny losers.

Reminds me how the laws in England (and other socialist Western nations I'm sure) are such that if a homeowner resists a person invading their home and harms the invader, then the homeowner will be charged with a crime.

So the communists in California have now taken it from just decriminalizing all sorts of destructive and criminal behavior (looting and stealing from businesses, illegal drug use, etc), to now criminalizing those who resist the former criminal behavior.

Once again, this is another demonstration how the Marxist Left seeks to enact a total inversion of reality. They want to re-define those things that are evil to now be "good" (eg, homosexuality, transgenderism, normalize pedophilia, decriminalize drug use, allow looting and shoplifting, etc), and re-define those things that are good to now be "evil" (Christians and decent people who speak out against all the depravity of the Left are defined and charged with crimes under "hate speech", called "domestic terrorists", have the Marxist mob "cancel" them from their job, etc).

The communist Left are Satanic. Everything they do is designed to destroy society. That's not hyperbole. I started a thread here on this I believe...but Karl Marx was a actually a practicing Luciferian, and he (and his cohorts) created communism as a political vehicle to attack Christianity and bring in a Satanic agenda for society. And it is obvious from their actions - "ye shall know them by their fruits".

He's known in California as NewScum.

I know just as much as you, at the very least. The law of requiring "reasonable" use of force is vague, and is in many cases (not all, but often) currently being interpreted and enforced such that those who lawfully use force against intruders are being prosecuted.

Leftists are the ones who know nothing about EVERYTHING. They think there are 70 genders, unborn children are "not human beings", and that decriminalizing looting and stealing is a "great idea".

Libtards are CLUELESS about everything. They have no business pretending to be the "moral and intellectual experts" on anything, and certainly anything to do with the law. You do not have the moral or intellectual high ground on me, on anything.

Wow, this is amazing...British and a lawyer in England. Small world. This is similar to how on the internet when people argue that Sandy Hook was a government staged psyop, a person defending the official story always pops up who claims to personally know people involved in the case.

No, I am not wrong. There are many cases in England of people lawfully defending themselves against intruders into their homes who have been prosecuted. That is a fact.
