Regime change got rid of a dictator in Asaad, but the West has installed a terrorist as the new president and his al qaeda spin off terrorist group is slaughtering Christians and other religious minorities as well as men, women and children in cities in and around where Asaad was born.
I guess the CIA and other western intel is okay with slaughtering innocence as long as it's done by jihadists groups and not dictators.
Of course I'm evidently an isolationist and I don't understand the importance of killing innocent people as long as it's not done by a brutal dictator.
Asaad isn't gone because of the West... Assad is gone because Russia is getting drained dry by the war in Ukraine (or as Trump likes to say, "they hold all the cards") and had to withdraw its protection for the Assad regime, which let the opposition sweep in.
