I saw a piece on the situation a couple or so weeks ago on Spectrum News... and of course they just went with the angle that the police chief and department were racist.

I don't live there, and I don't know any of the people, so I don't really have an opinion... just reporting on the news piece.

Apparently the Kenly Town Manager's contract was terminated by the Town late last week in addition to their not re-hiring any of the previous police force.
