You're breaking my heart. You're town is burning to the ground and you're worrying about NIL? You don't have your priorities in the right place, friend. All fake outrage if NIL is your worry tonight.

My bags are packed and I have the game on one TV and helicopters dropping water on the other. So yeah I can notice that you have time to post on the internet constantly, but you can't scrape together 10 bucks to get some players. **** you and your accusations of "fake outrage".

The nicest thing I can say to you is when your family throws you in the looney bin, I hope it doesn't burn down. Which isn't what you wish on the people where I live, you sad old man. Lol.

You know, some people don't believe in the concept of NIL. The outrage towards people who would rather give money (without a badge) to people that are less fortunate, is to be honored in the eyes of God.

So, understand that giving to less fortunate people is a calling. The question is… where is the calling coming from?

Don't know why. They were properly prepared. There was nothing they could have done. Only ****ty people would think the democrat leadership failed, and continues to fail, them....
It does sound like this fire is most likely the worse the area has seen. That said, I think it's been pointed out how unprepared the City and State has been. That unpreparedness is and usually is the result of mostly Democratic leadership.

Now, at this point, Southern California is going to need a miracle to put this out, completely. The devastation is massive and will likely require close to 500B (maybe more) when it's all said and done. I have no idea who has the appetite to clean this up, financially. I do not think it's the Federal Governments responsibility.

So, in the meantime, pray for a massive rain storm soon…

Boy, I was sure hoping that stupid NIL talk wouldn't get over to the WC. Ironic, given that those folks don't want water cooler stuff coming over to the sports threads, no?

If people want to give to NIL, then that is their calling. I don't begrudge them for that. If people don't feel a calling to give to NIL, then I hope others don't begrudge them for their decision.

I have strong feeling towards things (that includes most things). I'm sure others do as well. I do get tired of seeing the Sports forums making condescending remarks towards those, without badges. No one knows each persons position, whether financial or calling, regarding their contribution. Unfortunately, we all have opinions and callings that we like to express to others, me included…

BTW, I can certainly have a badge next to my name; however, I choose not!!

Speaking of irony… the guy complaining about someone not having a badge, claims he lives in LA. Not to judge that person; however, "my" money would go into my community if it were on fire and burning to the ground! Those communities will never be the same!

Do you own bars locally? DM me where. Would love to drop in and support a fellow wolfpacker. I'd tell you to put it on the board but there is at least one nutjob on here that would probably post bad reviews because he disagrees with you politically.

I support 1Pack but find the shame tactics on the sports board nauseating from the fans. I appreciate Steve and Reid's work and postings, but feel the superfans spoil the message. But that type of rhetoric from them is basically the same with the play calling, coaching, players, etc. Incessant purity tests from the know it all dorks.

Two bars, sort of. I stock a private hunting club bar, but appreciate the offer. I do have a silent partner interest in a roadside bar in Granville county, but am struggling to convince the majority share owners to carry any vodka there, let alone social house. They're balking because of permits/licenses or whatever, but I keep telling them there's demand enough to make it worthwhile to make the legal hassle worth it.

Cool. Used to hunt a bunch in Granville county in my teens and twenties. Now, primarily hunt in Durham, Person, and Orange counties. We've got a bunch of leases with farmers around this area. Do depredation for them in the summertime too.

The hunting club with a bar sounds very appealing though. Let me know if you're taking on members.
