I agree, but if you're not going to mind spending for gov programs and departments, why would you mind spending on salary too?

It's all out of control at this point. The federal government doesn't have a revenue problem, they have a spending problem.
They have a SOCIALIST/MARXIST PARTY problem... and a mindless sheep base problem that can't think for themselves enough to not vote for them.

Never underestimate people's laziness and desire to be told what to do and how to live their lives. Look at the supporters of the party.... they slurp up everything the MSM spouts off and then come on here to regurgitate it. So damn sad that supposed educated people are that damn blind to see how they are being sold a false narrative.

But... God loves stupid people too.

That party is THE problme.
here's where I disagree with you, I don't put the blame on just one party
In all fairness to BBW I kinda think that 99% of the politicians are on the same side, regardless of the letter in front of their name.

When it comes to spending, this is absolutely the truth.

The Dems just tell everyone up front that they want to give away a bunch of free stuff. Heck, it was part of their "Oprah giveway" marketing plan.

The GOP tells us they're not going to give away things....but then goes away and spends it all anyway.

Do both sides increase budgets? Yes.
Do they do so to the same extent? No.
There are at least two trillion differences between those two sides.

Sure -- this POTUS seems to have gone off the freaking deep end. Fueled by (real) socialists like Bernie and the pressures from AOC, etc.
But I'm thinking Trump's predecessor probably would say the same thing about Trump in terms of exploding budgets and deficits.

None of them have done a very good job from that perspective....its kinda like the tallest midget argument.

Man... you and your party know how to really spin it! Keep that mantra rolling.

And by "Trump's predecessor" you mean the one that increased the debt, lied about "shovel ready" jobs, divided this country more than ever since the Civil War, spied on Americans, weaponized the IRS, spied on Angela Merkel, allowed our men in Benghazi to be murdered...I could go on but you don't care.

What it should be is the dems should be looking to keep the spending the same, and the republicans should be looking to cut 2 trillion in spending. Then we might get back to some sort of normalcy

You know as well as I do the lefties have one goal in mind and it's absolute power. Spin it, dress it up, put lipstick on it. It will still be the same.

well then you shouldn't have voted for Biden man. Thanks for getting into this position

I mean Obama, who I voted against 2x, probably like you. He may have been all the things you reference, but since this was about how Dems vs Rep spend, he spent less in all of his 8 years --- total $ and as a % of GDP -- as Trump did in any of his 4 years.
2020 became a flyer year obviously because of Covid, but why didn't Trump reduce spending a single time earlier in his term if he is, as you suggest, against increasing spending?

The answer was a simple! The swamp is on both sides of the isle! Trump called for all unused spending to be brought back and pay down the debt (there is a term for this that I can't remember). Again, no action! This is what I despise Republican leadership!!!

Ha Ha!! You got jokes!! So do I Mr. "High Repeating Rifle.."

You can't put toothpaste back in the tube. You and your comrades made it clear that the only way to move forward is to spend money. I find it hilarious that you all of a sudden are an economic expert when you made such a...well... you know what you did.

"REAL" SOCIALISTS???? LMAO....

Man... you and your party know how to really spin it!

I've been watching the police crying all day long and admitting that they couldn't of stopped them if the protestors were actually armed.....

I look on twitter and all of the democrats are talking about the feelings of the people involved and i'm over here thinking that the people who are actually in charge of protecting the capital of our country can't actually protect it

The Jan 6 protest was NOT a "riot" or "attack" as the Democrats and Leftist Establishment media keeps calling it. It was a largely peaceful protest, and the "worst" thing that was done, arguably, was "trespassing" into the Capitol grounds - but that is not clear, as the people were allowed into the Capitol by the police. There was no burning of buildings, no violence, no property damage.

Meanwhile, Antifa and BLM and other far Left terrorists were actually rioting in our streets for about a year, burning down buildings, tearing down statues, and assaulting and killing people. They caused millions of dollars in damage to property. We even had the Leftist terrorists in Seattle take over a portion of the city and claim they had seized the territory (ie, "autonomous zone"). But the Democrats and Leftist Establishment media didn't call those "riots", or refer to them as "domestic terrorists", as they should have. They whitewashed it, by repeatedly calling them "protests". But with the Jan 6 protest, the Establishment media keeps calling it a "Capitol riot", "Capitol attack". It's a lie. It was not a riot or attack.

This is what communists do - ie, as done in the Soviet Union and other places where the communists have taken power. They form "brown shirt" type terrorist squads (Antifa, BLM) to commit ACTUAL terrorism in the streets (burning buildings, killing people) in order to intimidate the society to adopt their ideological positions, and then largely let those terrorists avoid prosecution. Then, they prosecute their ideological opposition for peaceful protests or even just their speech, and falsely call them "terrorists", "rioters", "dangerous extremists", etc.

This is an extremely dangerous time in this nation. The Democrats/Left are moving to characterize PEACEFUL right-wing protesters and activists as "dangerous extremists" and "terrorists"...and all based on lies, when the right-wing are not actually doing anything close to illegal. Facebook and other Big Tech social media sites, for example, are moving to characterize right-wing views as "extremism", and are constantly moving to censor more and more right-wing and anti-Establishment views from their sites. Prominent Leftist pundits are trying to characterize all Trump supporters as "extremists". It doesn't take a genius to see where this is going. They are ultimately trying to criminalize right-wing views.

And this is already happening in the more Leftist-controlled countries in the world. For example, it is illegal to question many things about the "official narrative" on Covid in Australia and many other countries...and you have had many people arrested in Australia, for instance, for simply posting on Facebook about how they were against the mask mandates. It won't be long until they try to do things like this here in the United States. Facebook and YouTube are already heavily censoring posts & videos that go against the official narrative on Covid, and you just had the Biden administration call for MORE censorship recently, when they were labeling those questioning the official narrative as espousing "dangerous misinformation".

One thing that's not potentially true about your post is that they are reporting (roughly) 1.5 M dollars worth of damage. So, we do have some damage. In fact Ashley Babbit appeared to be going through a broken window when she was shot and killed.

I am not blinded into thinking: nothing wrong here, move along. For me the real question is who were those people that caused the damage?

It could be: antifa, BLM, FBI infiltrated militia groups, and just plain MAGA people. My hunch tells me that it was all! What were the %'s? No idea!!!

I do think the hysteria about the day, by the media, Congress, and big tech censoring is not good for all!!!!

So, just slow down, and understand that he may be talking so far in front of you... it's going to take composure to keep up...

So you're agreeing he's an internet caricature? Ie, One if the worst problem that exists on all of social media? Well, I already assumed that part.

Is it your job to interpret for him now?
I'm going to reply to this one again just so I know it was deleted... again..

I sat this one out for a few days. I am not a caricature. Funny how you can sling your insults but when I call you "Mr. High Repeating Rifle" the post disappears.

That is a reference to you calling for gun control on a topic you obviously new nothing about but felt the need to regurgitate your MSM propaganda talking points.

I do not and have not ever needed an interpreter. You however need to do research before you jump in on a debate or try to have a conversation with only information from lefty networks.

Now if this one disappears someone please let me know why.

"Rules for me.. but not for thee..."

let me know as well...
LOL. We already know... where's that meme I posted again...

On second thought, nevermind.

Very funny, but Trump also did this when he was at some rally in PA when he stated that he has a lot of truck driver friends. No one politician is immune to trying to relate to the working man.

If you listen to Trump Jr., his father made him learn the skills of everyone, in the company, including driving machinery and trucks. So, based on that, my hunch tells me he has a relationship with truckers and/or other people...

While the southern border stays wide open and Biden rolls out the red carpet for illegals and ships them all over the nation, they have completely shut down the border with Canada until at least August 21, and not even told members of Congress why.

Washington's reasons for keeping border closed to Canadians still murky a week later

July 29 2021

A week after the U.S. government surprised many by announcing the land border with Canada would remain closed for the time being, the exact reasons for that decision remain shrouded in secrecy.

Not even American members of Congress have been given a detailed explanation for the decision. Congressman Brian Higgins of New York said the lack of information is leading to confusion among his constituents.

Maybe so, but I remember the way he stated it he overstated his friendship with truckers, like they're getting the Trump family Christmas card and what not. I'm not indicting Trump really, it just struck me as also funny at the time he said it.

What if truck driving school was part of the Scranton HS educational experience? Lol

The illegitimate and fraudulently installed puppet President is greeted in his home state of Pennsylvania by a large crowd of people jeering, booing, flipping him off, and waving Trump flags.

Boy President Trump broke you didn't he? Can you even have a discussion about the ****show of an administration without referencing FORMER President Trump? Damn... give it a rest or get some help. Loosen up that p6$$> hat that you wore with pride after President Trump was elected and you marched in Washington D.C. protesting his victory.

Claiming you know truck drivers, which I'm certain President Trump knows, and claiming that you actually drove a truck is two totally different things. With the affliction you have I don't guess you can see the difference.

When you are so obsessed with someone who is no longer President, they broke you so bad all you can do is lament and correlate EVERY SINGLE THING in life to them. Like the boy who cries about the girl that dumped him 20 years after it happened to anyone that will listen..... broken record hokie...

Enjoy the inflation you voted for.
