DC was a fortress yesterday, so I don't think anyone was really expecting any violence. I think if 1/6 hadn't happened, yesterday could've had potential for violence and disruption.

Not sure about State capitols and what was expected. I assume that the FBI is actively tracking down and arresting people from 1/6 across the country has dissuaded some of the people that would have been going to capitols, if that was a thing.
