He let Nixon attempt to make a play on two shallow fly balls. One Nixon drops and leads to a run. RF has to make those plays coming in. Has to.
Then gets hit by the ball running the bases taking at least another run maybe two off the board.
Don't care about his two Ks that stuff happens and worth it for the big plays he makes with the bat but just can't have the other mental errors

Coming in to catch a shallow fly ball is not "weird stuff." That's a routine play for a good RF not an unfair standard. I'm in favor of keeping him in the lineup but easy to see why he was not

If there is an argument to make regarding Wiggins, it would be about whether he could have gotten more burn at DH or wondering if he can play serviceable defense at 1B as McHugh struggled offensively.

Not trying to pour it on or be negative but I just don't see it happening without a big weekend against UNC and a decent run next week in the ACC.
4-12 in ACC road games with no road series wins. I just don't see the committee sending a team with that record on the road in a regional.
