Staregrad06, I like our team but frustrated about our lost opportunities in the 4 - 1 run loses ( 3 in conference series). Mikie getting back should fix our DH issues ( gives us multiple options without having to us Novy). Praying to Coaches help this team get into postseason play. If Maron returns to mid-season form we could make some noise.

Agree. I only saw the last 3 innings of the game. That call was a killer. Then we had a runner dead to rights at the plate and I guess it was Nixon who air mailed it. That was a big run. You can always play the what if game, but had we gotten the guy out at the plate or had that 3rd strike been called, it changes everything after that.

Ryder made a good pitch on the guy who got the hit after the 2 runners were on. It was down and in their batter went down and hit it.

Seems like they may be setting up to go to Namce as the starter tomorrow. Not sure they would have moved Hemric to Saturday otherwise. Smart move. Interested to see if we get Andrews out of the pen today. Curious to see how he looks in that role.

As far as going to Nance last night I don't believe that was an option considering he just went 115 on Sunday as I recall which was a good 50 pitches beyond anything he has done this year I believe. He was out until this Sunday given that pitch count.

Saturday. State didn't play Sunday. That's why Cooper started last night and Hemric today. Timeline moved up.

If they go to Nance today out of the bullpen I'll be pretty ticked off. He's done regular 4-6 day rest following extended outings before. Obviously not 110, but almost no doubt in my mind his arm would've been ready to go last night.

Yeah no way he was going last night even with it being Saturday last week instead of Sunday. 115 you aren't short changing that by a day especially when he wasn't even bully up to that number. He is getting the full week coming off 115.

The pitching is what it is, but the offense no showed 8 innings yesterday and so far today. Team has not hit on the road. Very disappointing.

Stanford gave up 6, 10, and 18 to Notre Dame last weekend.

4 walks and only 2 runs. SMH

Still can't get a big hit. Stanford walked the first 3 freaking batters and only 2 runs to show for it.

Good to cut into the lead but again leaving RISP
