Just with how this team is swinging it. I don't think they will score 3.

1. This isn't a one off instance.

2. Im not focused on the score as much as the lack of quality at bats. You have had legitimately 2 good at bats both by the same guy.

Renfrow has an FIP of 5.82 and opposing teams are hitting .280+ off of him this year. 17% HR/FB

Hes getting hit and hit hard.

Agreed. Trying to piece it together from a pitching standpoint, for sure. If we are going to win any series the rest of the way, it's gonna be on the offense. Not going to win many 3-2 at this point…

Ten in a row retired. His season high in pitch count is 109, I believe.

Renfrow will get taken early in the draft. He has good stuff and will get a lot of strikeouts. But he get hit and hit hard.

Against GT 5 runs in 5 innings

UVA 7 runs in two innings

Miami 7 runs

BC 5 runs.

This isn't Carlos Rodon we are facing. It is a pitiful performance from NC State. Andrews and Harris have done their job.

Would have liked to put Rhett on the move with a hit and run early in that count to try and get something going. Unfortunately we get Vanilla Avent who just wants to sit back and see if we might string together 5 singles against a guy who's been dealing all night.
