I'm driving and listening on varsity. Went through a tunnel but assumed they had pulled him on the first mound visit. Kid was getting hit hard. And they said the were only gonna likely use nance for a couple outs.

Fraasman ran so slowly that the catcher did not realize he had taken off, double-clutched, and still threw him out.

Welp. I am on the couch watching the game and missed the mound visit. LOL.
There's stealing some outs for us!. 3 outs on 4 pitches for nance. Agree on gotta hit and score more runs. Wouldn't have mattered if we had marohn pitching Friday, and if we wind up only scoring 3 today, that's not near good enough either. Offense has to find a way to scratch out more runs.

Should have been pulled before that. The first three batters of the inning; Hard hit ball, hard hit ball, 4 pitch walk.

Luckily we got a run. I don't like bunting with Nixon there. Yes he is usually pretty good at getting them down. I would rather let him hit and it's a good chance he doesn't get doubled up. Head is fast and exciting, but you don't make the first or the 3rd out at 3rd.

Young kid, getting hit hard, third time through- yeah I would've pulled him after the last hit before the hr. Especially if plan was to only have nance get you a couple outs. On the radio broadcast it sounded like that's all he was gong to be good for today. Regardless - doesn't matter now. Just need to score some more runs at this point.

It was an average relay that he almost beat with a great slide. You don't make third outs at third base. That is a cardinal sin in baseball. I don't think he was even being sent to third by Hart.
