Personally, I'd make CC the closer and let him have the option to pitch twice a weekend. We have some solid bullpen guys, but nobody has really shown closer stuff consistently. Cooper has that dog mentality that you need in that role, and has the stuff and is deceptive enough to shut the other team down.

I assume this is a subtweet at me. Never had a problem playing Johnson as it's own move. Johnson is a good player and had a great week. He also had a .750 BABIP with 1 XBH these 4 games so I wonder if he's going to need more pop against better teams (Same thing happened with Sherman a few weeks ago). My guess is he'll settle in as like a 350/450/500 type player. I think most agree the offense wasn't great this week, despite his excellent week, which goes back to half of the lineup not hitting for power. That's not Rett's fault by any means, just brings up questions for the lineup as a whole
