At the very least from Bonn, he hopefully gives us a 2nd option at catcher. Catching 4/5 games a week is very tough. Hopefully they can give Lamphere more time off and allow Bonn to gain more experience behind the plate.

Really glad I had men's confrence at church followed by my girls first teeball practice this weekend instead of being on this thread.

Marohn being scratched for doing too many curls in the weight room might be one of the better scratches I've heard.

We should just not play anymore and throw ourselves at the mercy of the selection committee

Sacramento States RPI is 166. No was LSU can survive that series loss

Id say weak schedule or not any system that list a 14-2 team behind dozens of teams with 2, 3 or 4 wins is a flawed one. At some point you have to win games not just lose to "good" teams. Either the rpi corrects itself as we get more into the season or no reasonable person would ever use it in any meaningful way.
For example Columbia is 2-7. They went 1 and 2 against Mercer and 1 and 2 against Kansas St for their 2 wins. They are RPI..........27. Last week they were 106. Make that make sense. I guess winning 1 out of 3 against Kansas St carries a lot of wight with the RPI.

2024 team was ranked 144th in RPI during the non-conference. 2021 ranked 181st

Not to bump an old thread, but regarding earlier discussions, depending on where you look our RPI has gone up 30-40 spots in the last week or so. And our opponent this coming weekend is 2-3 in the RPI most everywhere I've seen.
