Yes walks and errors kill you. They had 2 walks on Friday, both in the 9th inning and State scored 4. 10 walks yesterday and State scored 10. Hard hit balls right at a fielder can still be outs. Their starter on Friday pitched well. Ground outs and fly outs still count the same as strikeouts.

Rett would hit leadoff and be an everyday center fielder for like 97% of college baseball teams. Such a weapon for us.
Bargo grounds into his 3rd DP of the day. I think the score is 10-2?
Bargo killing us today. If he can't get the ball in the air, I would like to see someone else at DH.

Bargo is definitely in to get comfortable at the plate and told not to run hard. It's 10-2. If he blew his hammy again running out that ground ball everyone would lose their minds.

Agree! If he can't run then he doesn't need to be batting unless he is going yard every time up, which is not going to happen. 2nd DP would have happened had he been the fastest guy in the world, but the other two were very telling.

I def don't want him hustling on the basepaths. But, he's a liability if he even reaches base. I'd rather just have someone else at DH if he's not healthy enough to even give effort running.

If it was a 3-2 game in an ACC series sure. But he's gotta get back to seeing live pitching before that.

Drove and outside pitch to right. Powered a curve out to left, and blasted a high fastball over both fences. He is serving notice he wants a turn behind the plate. Lamphere beware.
