Rett Johnson must be good.

Cal, Adam, and Wes talked about it this week - he chose us over some big-time opportunities. Vandy, Miss St. Arkansas, etc.

State fan growing up. #1 outfielder in NC for his class. Top ranked kid for the class in NC that stayed in the state. 70th nationally in terms of guys that went to school instead of the draft.

Believe State thinks he's Tyler McDonough 2.0 with a threat to steal more bags.

I get it but he is still a freshman. I am not saying he isn't going to win a spot out there, but who are you taking out of the lineup? Wiggins? Fraasman?

I've said Wiggins from the start if he's production is going to match what he's done in the Big10 the past few years. Pretty sure that's what we would have seen this weekend if Johnson was good to go.

But if he takes a step forward then it's simply a good problem to have.

I agree with every word Alex said.

I thought Rhett was the best hitter in the two scrimmages in the fall.

In the Wake game in particular he went backside with a should be single that he turned into a standup double, stole 3rd, and then scored on a double steal.

Oh absolutely. Once he gets his shot he is going to be hard to take out of the lineup.
