I wouldn't exactly call that a drop. Now the ball in LF yes misplayed and the ball to the SS misplayed.

Yeah that was hard to watch. I genuinely feel bad for those kids. Praying they have the mental strength to get through that. Gonna be a hard week for them.

after all of that, that was their 4th worst play of the inning too.

the ground ball to first, the 1st baseman overplayed it some and the pitcher was a step late. and obviously the non double play ball and play in LF.

The double play ball cost them, that was a brain dead play. The one in left and the last one were tough but makable plays.

Call it what you want but watching your son uncontrollably cry after that play and losing his chance to play for a NC at the place you work is nightmare fuel.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Yep. He is a former Coastal catcher and is from Lumberton. Was formerly head coach at Longwood.

Umpire needs to realize where he is, the magnitude of the game for coaches and players, and realize he is not the reason people paid money or tuned in to watch the game.
