Yeah and it got a little easier with the increase in scholarships. Hard to get quality baseball players to Duke under the 11.7 model as expensive as it is to go there.

If they aren't already, Duke could've been doing what Vandy does, which is to offer academic scholarships to everyone on the baseball team, thereby getting around the scholarship limit. Moot point now.

I thought Vandy had the work around where any student who's parents made under like 150K received a full ride? Duke did just start this as well a couple of years ago for NC and SC residents.

The first game on Friday, June 13 is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CT, and showcases No. 13 national seed Coastal Carolina (53-11) against Arizona (44-19) on ESPN. Friday's second game features No. 8 national seed Oregon State (47-14-1) against Louisville (40-22) and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The Saturday, June 14 action includes No. 15 national seed UCLA (47-16) against either Duke (41-20 through June 8) or Murray State (43-15 through June 8) at 1 p.m. CT on ESPN. The other Saturday game features No. 3 national seed Arkansas (48-13) squaring off against No. 6 national seed LSU (48-15) at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

As of now the Coastal Coach ($375,00 base with $220,000 possibility of bonus)and Avent (460,000) are close in salary and the Coastal coach will most likely get a raise after this season. No way he leaves Coastal. Better facilities, better support and frankly a overall better program than States. Both Hart and Schnall have eerily similar stories with how long they've been with the program, although Schnall did leave for UCF where Hart hasn't left State. both have been strongly loyal to their programs and the HC over 20 years.

It just goes to show how important program management is. There is no reason coastal should have a better program than USC.

Another instance of the right decision being right there in front of the AD.

Schnall isn't leaving Coastal for any job, IMO.
