Full rebuild. Wonder if avent wants to go through with that.

In theory could get back Nixon, Mchugh, Head, Sosa, Novy, Ossenfort, etc. Then Nance, Dudan, Marohn, Piessel, etc. on the mound.

Well considering Nixon and Sosa already started on a CWS team, McHugh was our best hitter, Head had a fantastic freshman year, I think they would choose to bring them back. But JMO.


Ill take Nixon, McHugh and Head back. Try to keep Novy. Any other fielders can test the portal.

Oh I agree, for sure- those would be my top 3. I think the coaches are pretty high on Sosa (for right or wrong). Personally, I would be fine if he decided to leave. I think Novy/Ossenfort/Lyons would be in contention for the DH role next year, maybe a corner OF spot, if they choose to come back. But we will have a couple holes to fill, 100%. A couple incoming freshmen should be guys that you can possibly slide into the lineup if we get them on campus.


Think Novy's natural position is 3rd.

Oh these umps arent the reason State is losing. But they will for sure screw someone during this regional if they cant get their crap together. They've been pretty bad all the way around.

Well Southern Cal was last 4 in and ECU had to win their tournament to even make it.....Stetson has 40 wins.....either way, nothing polishes this turd

This coaching staff did a lot of bad this year. Scouting, pitching use, development, etc

I think that was Payton Green, Harrison, and Groover that year in the infield.

Hard to blame the coaching. Sometimes things like this just happen.
