I'd go with he just goes with his normal bullpen rotation NO MATTER the situation. He has a plan and deviating from that plan can never be possible. Its the plan. Never question the plan.

Well considering Nixon and Sosa already started on a CWS team, McHugh was our best hitter, Head had a fantastic freshman year, I think they would choose to bring them back. But JMO.

With the portal and our lack of funds it's a crapshoot talking about what we have returning next year. Half those guys listed likely won't be here. Sucks but it's the new reality in the nil era

That was last year. Sosa has regressed IMO. And I'll be surprised if Head doesn't head to greener pastures. He's the only player that had all-conference potential (outside of pitchers(.

This is where I'm at.


And I would still try to recruit over everyone except Head (hes so good so be tuff). But Id still want McHugh and Nixon to battle for their positions.

Oh I agree, for sure- those would be my top 3. I think the coaches are pretty high on Sosa (for right or wrong). Personally, I would be fine if he decided to leave. I think Novy/Ossenfort/Lyons would be in contention for the DH role next year, maybe a corner OF spot, if they choose to come back. But we will have a couple holes to fill, 100%. A couple incoming freshmen should be guys that you can possibly slide into the lineup if we get them on campus.
