FSU tied 2-2 and just had a lightning strike-Volini 50 pitches in-will he be done if he sits for an hour

May not have mattered but sure would have liked Marohn out there not walking dudes like I said before.

Fritton wouldn't have started G1 of the ACC tournament if he wasn't starting tomorrow, IMO. It'll be Fritton - Marohn - Andrews almost 100%.

The most important thing is winning the first game.

This is most likely what will happen. I wish they were flipped. Fritton is our best starter IMo and I'd prefer him against Auburn. Need them both to pitch well regardless. And score some runs!

Well… I obviously knew what I was talking about with my hunch…. Woof

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. None of us saw this coming. It wouldn't surprise me if Fritton put money on Stetson (kidding of course).

Knowing what you are going to get against a team like Stetson was always the right call to me. Marohn stuff is plenty good to handle Stetson lineup and you know he isn't gojng to make a mess for them. Just didn't understand why Dom yesterday and not Marohn.

So if I am trying to win the regional and not just focused on 'one game at a time'. I am going something like this the rest of the way.

Today CCSU - Andrews
Sunday SU - Nance
Sunday - Auburn - Marohn
Monday Auburn - Fritton

Need to score some runs against CCSU and Stetson tomorrow. Allow for saving some bullpen arms.

It's a bold move but it's probably your best chance to win the regional.

It's probably the best long term move, but if Andrews gets lit up early and you can't recover, it will hard to explain why you went two and out without using your best starter.

I don't think it is hard to explain once you chose not to use him against Stetson. You are trying to win the regional and pitching Ryan against CCSU isn't giving you the best chance.
