Starting to start swinging level now!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Didn't see the rest of the inning but hitting someone in the head wasn't a good start. We've seen him lose control fast.

again, love the aggressiveness on the base paths, but tell hogue to stop in between 1st and 2nd. little league type play, but it would take a GREAT play by campbell to get nixon

Good to see Dudan throw well today. I suspect he stays in the pen, but there is some real pressure on Fritton to build on his last performance. Consiglio seems like he needs to be throwing on the weekend and I could see Fritton being really good in the late innings with Dudan and Smith.

8 of the 9 guys in the lineup had a hit and the only one that didn't (McHugh) scored 2 runs and drove in another.

Encouraging pitching performances again. Is that one run allowed in the last three games?

Pitching has looked a lot better outside of Saturday. Still want to see how this team hits against better competition though. This team is going to have to hit with the lack of power I feel they don't have.

Whatever Chrysler said to him on the mound visit after he drilled that guy in the head worked. He was dead on the rest of the inning.

Villaman ended up being the setup guy by the end of the year, which is basically what Dudan was last year and what we assumed this year as well?

I'm not letting Dudan go through a lineup twice I don't think, unless he just keeps pitching like he is now lol.

Liberty he came in to start the inning and the Canisius blow up he had faced one batter in the 8th and had the 9th to himself. Coastal was the only time he came in with multiple runners on IIRC. I don't think it's excusable and would think he and the staff agree.

It was good to see him potentially figure some stuff out. I'm still a little nervous about how easy guys turn on his fastball and the frequency in which the slider is out of the zone. I think well coached teams with a good approach at the plate will spit on the slider until he throws it for multiple called strikes.
