I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Yeah I think he's definitely harping on him not addressing the batter. I don't agree, just think he's working fast and we've been a little lax getting ready. Started with Sosa in the first.

Early in the radio broadcast Andrew mentioned that the ump motioned to look at him and talked about how fast the pitcher is working but the pitcher has to acknowledge the ump before pitching.
I am guessing that is what this was all about.

Yeah. Seemed the UNCG pitcher was actually getting squeezed that inning. Throught a couple of hes pitches looked really close. Next thing I know Avents in discussion with Umpire. Maybe he was arguing those better be strikes when States pitching :-)
DeCriscio being hurt wouldn't be great...
doesn't make sense not to send Head earlier in the count. gotta be more aggressive IMO

Yep. Seems to be how they are coached at this point. 2 different pitchers and both not waiting for batter to get set in the box.
Seems to be a drop of from weekend to mid week umpires. Suck to suck more

Really nice job by Avent for griping. It hasn't ultimately paid off, but we have stolen a couple balls and they've chilled out

This is a product of pitchers getting the sign before they are on the rubber now so as soon as they step on the rubber they are ready to go. Hitters have to sync up with it.

Correct but you are just seeing this more now with signs on wrists and pitchers getting those signs off the rubber.

Some guys will never be good at shooting free throws. No matter how much practice. Some guys just cant bunt. And I guarantee Jarros aint taking away time in the cages to practice bunting.
