I can change this to MLB 2025 if this overlaps the Braves discussion and is too niche for the boards. I'm a Mets fan and doubted there would be enough interaction for a Mets thread but thought maybe we could rally division together for a thread of it's own. The Phillies and Nats have a decent number of fans locally and the division should be incredibly good and interesting this year.

Last year the NL East put 3 teams in the playoffs and most everyone would project that again this year.

Anyone have strong feelings on the division this year?

Braves are playing better after a brutal start. Mets just completed a 4 game sweep of the Cards. Starting pitching has been fantastic for the Mets despite missing Manaea was was sort of the de facto ace last year and Frankie Montas who projected as the 4th starter this year.

Senga with a 19 inning scoreless streak. Starters lead the majors in team ERA. Polar Bear second in the majors in OPS and is as hot as he's ever been as a Met. McNeil and Alvarez could return as early as next series against Philly I heard.

Well the Mets went 4-5 during that stretch. Offense is struggling as Pete and Lindor have cooled down some. Brett Baty has given a lift but need for guys like Nimmo, Vientos and Alvarez to pick it up and of course waiting on Soto to get hot.

Winning 2 of 3 vs LAD ain't bad though.

Phillies have been red hot but also aided by a dip in the schedule, taken full advantage winning 9 of 10. Granted those were against the likes of the Rockies, Pirates and A's.
