On the other hand, 11point7 projections have 8 sec hosts, including one 15-15 team (either bama or UF) AND Clemson at #13, whilst NC State is a 2 seed in Conway...

So much disparity between how people think the committee will treat our 1st or 2nd place acc finish vs. the "bad" rpi for traditional hosting candidacy

Certainly interesting. Having Florida as a host (with potentially a .500 conference record and currently 9-15 against Tier 1) seems specious. Who knows, but I put more stock in D1.

Just listened to the baseball America podcast, and they said they expect 9 or 10 sec hosts... brutal.

That's the 7 locks + some combo Florida/ Tennessee/Ole Miss.

Yeah no chance 10 SEC hosts. I could potentially see 9 if a few upsets happen this weekend I mentioned in the other thread. Most likely we see 7-8 SEC hosts imo

Lots of good info here.

I feel like we control our destiny with hosting. Sweep Stanford and we should be in good shape. If we do sweep Stanford, we also have a pretty good shot of finishing first.
