As a JUCO kid, I'd wager that Eli Pillsbury was brought in to have a role in our top 10-12 arms.pack2010 said:

Not sure any of those dudes would be in our top 10-12 arms, so they didn't score off our "mid-tier" guys (respectfully). Of course, I am putting Dudan, Smith, Fritton, Consiglio, Marohn, etc in the top tier.
According to twitter and here (thanks again to DW for updates), Lucas had a strong inning. Wimbish had a big inning. Shaffner was solid. Nance had a nice inning. Andrews worked around some hits. All encouraging signs.
Seems like the starting defense was fine/good. Gotta tinker with the lineup it seems, get Hogue heathy and keep getting younger dudes reps.
