Welcome back Garrett Pennington and Jacob Cozart. They both had struggled this week but they both had key hits.

Marohn(hope I spelled that right) was fantastic in relief and did a great job holding Wake down.

Derrick Smith came in and was nasty with three strikeouts and all looking.

One other note, Wake's 3rd pitcher who's name was Guenther I believe, comes from Fairhope, Alabama. Philip Rivers coaches at St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, Alabama.

Way to sweep the Deacs and guarantee that 3rd seed in the ACC Tournament. This team should be hosting a regional, but we know how the NCAA loves to shaft us. I expect it will be the same this year, but these guys are scrapping and winning a lot like the 2021 team.
