That's odd. Soles has been known during his time here to not have the strongest outfield arm. I thought soles was always going to play a dh role this year.

That's odd. Soles has been known during his time here to not have the strongest outfield arm. I thought soles was always going to play a dh role this year.
Hogue has a better arm probably but Noah has really good range out there. Chase is the 3rd corner guy that probably belongs in DH slot but is playing field by necessity.

Problem with working counts is that he's been ahead all night and then that slider is basically unhittable later in the AB. I personally prefer trying to catch a fastball early in the AB. You aren't going to chase him out based on pitch count, but you might get to him if you can jump on him, basically just like we did the Duke kid earlier this year

It goes both ways. I don't mind hunting the fastball early but if you do that and you recognize a breaking ball don't swing. We're guessing and it's causing us to chase pitches out of the zone both early and late in counts. That's my issue
