We are pretty slow across the board outside of Butterworth

So basically we are who we thought we were.

The early season struggles were the surprise, not the more recent corner turn. Although "surprise" is too strong. Taking a bit to get in a groove isn't novel, especially in baseball.

Love the direction the staff is headed and they're getting some slick fielding and timely bats to back them up.

Massive series win.

I thought he got him. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, only two people know for sure. I thought our base runner on Thursday night slid in under the tag and his for hit the base first, but the call stood on replay. In the old days, if the ball beat you there and there was any semblance of a tag, you were out. More often than not, replay isn't our friend, so if we got one there, good.

I think he got him because he didn't instinctively reach back to try to tag him again like you normally do if you miss someone.

Worried we are leaving Consiglio in too long here. Its hard to know where the line is sometimes and I know its only the 3rd but I don't want to fall so far behind we can't catch up. I want this sweep and we have other arms to go to. Hopefully he gets out of this without further damage.

Again I am unsure why Consiglio is still out there. Why have we let it get to 6 runs and why aren't we using Marohn and the other arms we have? Why not empty the tank and go all in for this win?
