We aren't going to see those guys this year except maybe Shaffner. Andrews gets 2-2 and runs a fastball on a guy crowding the plate and induced a ground ball. Ish happens. It's 2-1 in the 4th.

Bigger issue is that we can't push runs or even base runners against a kid with a 2.0 WHIP and 5 ERA from the CAA

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but, again, without knowing injuries, i don't understand why not. it's not like our great pitching staff is overflowing with talent and depth. what's the difference in throwing a kid out there with an ERA of 11 vs 15 or 20?

Baseball is hard but you have to score at least 1 when you have runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and your 4-6 guys coming up

Don't think you can. Cozart in DH, Sosa already subbed for Lanphere. Don't know that we'd have a catcher if it got extended
