I hate it for him. Prayers for a speedy recovery. Braves have had some terrible luck this year with injuries.

The #Braves today returned C Sean Murphy from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the injured list, and placed OF Ronald Acuña Jr. on the 10-day IL with a torn left ACL. Additionally, the club recalled OF J.P. Martnez to Atlanta and designated INF Joey Wendle for assignment.

#Braves lose 3-1 to the Nationals, both in tonight's game and in the 4-game series. Yes, they dropped 3 games in the series and have lost 17 of 30, scoring two or fewer runs 12 times in that stretch and three or fewer runs 17 times. The offense has sputtered more than a month.

Not looking so good. At the top of the league in hard hit baseballs, and still near the bottom in scoring since April 27th. Austin Riley has been really bad, and the team appears to be going through the motions at this point.

Leading the league in hard hit balls and being last in scoring the last 6 weeks means we've been unlucky.

That should turn around some. What won't is we're missing our best hitter and pitcher for the rest of the season.

Hopefully they can do enough to make the playoffs and get hot at the right time, like in '21.

ill preface this by saying that it would be highly controversial but i would almost understand if they fired Snit and brought in someone younger to try and energize this team. as someone said above, going through the motions perfectly sums up some of the recent play. Snit has been a great manager but his isn't exactly a rah rah energy guy and i think the team is missing that right now.

Wild Card race getting tighter, as I think the division is highly unlikely at this point. I will say, I can seethe Bravos making a deep postseason run, if the bats get going.

Think of how great the pitching staff could've been if Strider was healthy…

Was hoping AA would've signed Fried last year. Have a feeling he's gone, to LA most likely.

Me too. Love Max, almost a guaranteed win every time out if we score any runs at all.

And I'm sure AA would have signed him last year for the right price but we know at this point AA doesn't overpay for anybody.

Just hope Fried lands on the Yankees instead of the Dodgers.

The Braves are running it back at the trade deadline, acquiring right hand slugger Jorge Soler and right-handed relief pitcher Luke Jackson from San Francisco. Both played big roles in the '21 World Series run. Going back to SF are left hander Tyler Matzek and a minor league infielder.
