I didn't realize that they raised the minimum last year as well. I want to say it was $140K last year so dudes signing for $125 last year were still under the minimum.

This is the point of the draft where he signs for $150K if he really wants to be a pro. He may not get offered that much tho he's got some helium lately.

Fair, but losing 2 of your more established arms (both fairly fringe prospects, IMO) doesnt help. Of course Britton throwing 94 from the left side is always going to be a risk

It's $150K now. Changed two years ago from $125K. I believe it was $140K last year.

Banks already has his degree and is working on his masters so he is definitely gone.

Really hope to get Ryan Marohn on campus. I think he could be a stud on the mound.

He's not signing, IMO. Only one HS player drafted in the 20th round signed last year and he was a top 75 kid that's a big and toolsy SS. KC had extra pool $$ to burn, apparently, as he signed for over $400K. If Marohn can get that, I'll pack for him.

2 HS kids signed from the 20th round in 2021 and their bonuses were $125K and $10K. Yes, $10K.
