Also, what an off-season Mr. Green must have had. The improvement that Avent and his staff does with guys at the SS position is incredible. More than seeing the draft potential Green was talked about out of HS. Looking like a stud after just not being ready last year. Forget how hard the HS to ACC baseball is for even really talented kids.

Damn fun first game to be at this season!

You could feel the bats warming up in the later innings and NJIT was damn lucky to have a three run lead at all after they were gifted that 2-run error top 8.

Sam didn't have his best stuff but the home plate ump was squeezing him hard and making him throw 4 or 5 strikes to get an out. One of those at-bats preceded one of the bombs.

Great resilience by Pack9 today!!
