NC State will continue its seven-game home stand this weekend when it welcomes Radford to Doak Field at Dail Park for a three-game nonconference series. The teams will play Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will be broadcast on ACCNX and there will be an audio stream on WKNC 88.1 and the Varsity Network App.

NC State baseball (26-13) will step out of conference play this weekend when it welcomes Radford (13-27) to Doak Field at Dail Park for a three-game series.

SERIES HISTORY
Friday will mark the 15th time that NC State and Radford have met in program history, as the Pack leads the all-time series, 12-2.

The teams last met on May 3-5, 2019, in Raleigh for a three-game nonconference set, and NC State swept the series with 6-3, 9-3 and 6-3 wins, respectively.

NC State has won nine of the last 10 meetings with Radford dating back to 1992, including each of the last seven.

Continuing our home stand this weekend with some nonconference play.

Weather is gonna be a no go on Saturday. Possibly Sunday as well. Wonder if there is any talk about moving up tonight's game and playing 2 today?

I looked at WRAL yesterday afternoon and it said steady rain all day Sat and thunderstorms on Sun. They have changed it now

Two wins and a rain out wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Nothing too exciting going on through 2.5 innings... so just a quick note on another series.

There was some lamenting on here about what we were doing against the BC Starter Mancini in the opener a few weeks ago.

He didn't have great numbers entering our game before allowing only 2 ER through 7. He followed that up against VT last weekend with 2 ER through 7. Tonight he has gone through 7 with only 1 uneared at ND. BC's record isn't good but they're pretty pesky from what I've watched, and that kid might be pretty good. Keeping some powerful lineups down in his last 3. BC looking good to take the opener in that series to help our Atlantic chances.

I get teams intentionally walking Tommy, but for Radford and the year they are having, just pitch to him. If he jacks one, then you get to be a part of history, and if you get him out, it might motivate your team. Of course I selfishly want to see him get a shot at the single season record.

Yep totally, having a 250 pound guy diving for grounders in the hot corner is brilliant.

I'm surprised they want to use Villaman two innings tonight.

Saw the replay of the Tanks injury, looked like he said "it popped out and then popped back in", so maybe it's a minor deal.

No inside info, but I would anticipate Tommy not playing the rest of the weekend out of an abundance of caution.

I appreciate the fact that Coach is following through with a promise on something that he told a recruiter. It wouldn't of been hard to tell Tommy that we'd let him play 3rd and then not follow through
