That call is going to cost him a possible win.

I wouldn't worry too much about the 90 pitches early in the season. He has thrown a lot of change ups which is not a lot of stress on the arm. I would assume he has thrown about 15 change ups at least.

Watch some of replays from yesterday, he does move his front foot. He has a big "trigger" or "load" where he picks up his front and puts it back down. Basically "no stride" hitting but he's still using his front foot as the trigger in his swing sequence. You're not necessarily wrong for the most part though.

nice 4 outs for c. silver. always thought he was better than his numbers would indicate. just a weird lefty that seems tough to time. even though he gave up a single, he certainly wasn't barreled

that being said, i think 2ish innings should be his cap. when teams start to see him, it seems like that's when he gets hit some

Small mental stuff on defense worries me almost 2 games in. Super early to make and definitive statements but man, a couple things I've seen have me worried a smidge on D.

One thing I'm not worried about though and that's our Fri and Sat starters. Shooooo boy those two are gonna be nasty.

Yeah, I saw him pick it up slightly this past at bat. It's almost like he goes up on his toes and slams his heel back. Maybe him shortening his swing involves him not moving his front foot at all.
