NC State baseball (19-13) will begin a four-game road swing Tuesday when it travels to Boone, N.C., to play a midweek contest with Appalachian State (15-20). First pitch is set for 5 p.m. on Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium.

Luke Drumheller and Kendall McGowan continue to be two of the top hitters for the Mountaineers, as Drumheller paces the squad with 38 hits and 29 runs batted in while McGowan has compiled a .426 slugging percentage with 11 extra-base hits this season.
On the mound, projected starting pitcher Trey Tujetsch has made three starts in his seven appearances and owns an 8.61 earned-run average with two losses. The pitching staff as a whole has compiled a 6.73 ERA and is averaging 8.28 strikeouts per game.
