Cam Cotter comes in and gets a swinging bunt that he can't field, but Wilson does and throws out the runner at first. No run scored because he thought Cotter might field it. Next man pops up to Dillon Cooper in right field and the Pack holds on to win 8-7. 27-2 for the Pack.

Cotter came in and threw 8 or 9 pitches and 6 or 7 were for strikes. Great job!

He is coming off of Tommy John surgery, they may just be working him along. He did go a long time against NCCU, but it might be best to leave him as one of the closers too.

Big stones to bring in a freshman pitcher with the tying run on third in a 3-1 count. Even bigger stones for Cotter to come in and throw strikes and get the outs. I never really felt like our bats really got locked in this weekend, but we did what we needed to. Kudos to UVA playing tough in all three games.
