Jose Torres Headed To Cincinnati

NC State shortstop Jose Torres has been selected by Cincinnati with the No. 89 overall pick in the third round of the 2021 MLB Draft.

A first-team All-ACC selection, Torres batted .289 with 10 home runs and 44 RBIs.  He is expected to stay at shortstop on the next level, given some consider him the top defensive college shortstop in the daft.
