RELEASE: Wolfpack Women Inks Series With UConn
RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team has inked a pair of future games against UConn as the two programs announced a home-and-home series on Monday.
The Wolfpack will make the trip to Storrs during 2022-23 non-conference play, and the Huskies will return with a trip to Raleigh during the 2023-24 non-conference slate.
The teams have met eight times dating back to 1991, and half of those matchups occurred during the regular season. The two squads last met on March 24, 2007 in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. NC State and UConn have faced off inside Reynolds Coliseum just once, a meeting that occurred near the start of the 2002-03 campaign.
For now, the Wolfpack turns its attention to a competitive 2021-22 slate. The full schedule for this upcoming season will be released at a later date. Season tickets for 2021-22 are on sale now at GoPack.com/WBBTickets.
