COMMIT ALERT: 5-Star 2021 Post Sophie Hart Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Farmington (MN) 2021 five-star post Sophie Hart. 

The 6-foot-4 rising senior is regarded as one of the top post prospects in her class.

Hart is known for her defense, rebounding, and ability to run the floor.

NC State has recruited Hart for over two years and faced stiff competition from Maryland and the in-state program for Hart: Minnesota.

Most believe Hart could be the long-term replacement for Wolfpack All-American Elissa Cunane.

As a junior she helped lead Farmington to a 28-2 record while averaging over 18 points and 12 rebounds per game.

Hart is NC State’s third five-star commitment in the 2021 class, joining guard Jessica Timmons and Aziaha James.
