COMMIT ALERT: 2021 RB Demie Sumo Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Willingboro (NJ) 2021 running back Demie Sumo‍.

Sumo had a breakout junior season, totaling over 1,200 yards and 25 touchdowns as he led Willingboro High School to a 12-1 record.

The 6-foot, 205-pounder has been a priority for NC State since the Wolfpack offered last December.

“They think I could be a good fit in the offense and we talk a lot about the facilities, too,” Sumo said of NC State.  “I went down there my 10th grade year and I liked it a lot.”

He is NC State’s 13^th commitment in the 2021 class and the Wolfpack’s first running back addition.

Sumo was being recruited by Wolfpack wide receivers coach George McDonald.
