GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four members of the 10th-ranked NC State women's basketball team (25-4) earned high honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday afternoon as sophomore Elissa Cunane, senior Aislinn Konig and freshmen Jakia Brown-Turner and Jada Boyd were recognized for their successes during the 2019-20 season.

Cunane was named First Team All-ACC by both league voting bodies (head coaches and Blue Ribbon Panel). Konig earned a spot on the Second Team All-ACC as voted on by the conference's coaches and was an honorable mention honoree on the Blue Ribbon Panel's list. The honors made Cunane the fifth First Team All-ACC honoree for NC State in the last four seasons.

Boyd and Brown-Turner were both selected to the All-ACC Freshman Team by the league's head coaches. It marks the first time in program history that the Wolfpack has had two rookies featured on the list. Brown-Turner also was tabbed an All-ACC Freshman Team member by the Blue Ribbon Panel.

Elissa Cunane • Sophomore • Center
Cunane ended the 2019-20 regular season as the only ACC player to average a double-double on the year with 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. She is also the only player in the conference to rank in the top six in the league in scoring, rebounding and field-goal percentage (.552). The Summerfield, N.C., native notched a league-leading 14 double-doubles this season as the Pack's leading scorer and rebounder. She scored 20+ points in a total of 10 outings, including seven ACC matchups, and hit double figures in all but five games this season. Cunane has also been named to the Lisa Leslie Award Top 10, the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 and the Citizen Naismith Trophy Top 30 watch lists.

Aislinn Konig • Senior • Guard
Konig added to her list of career accomplishments by reaching the 1,000 career point mark in the beginning of league play. She became the 34th player in program history and the 14th active ACC player at the time to reach that milestone. The Surrey, British Columbia, native led the league in assist-to-turnover ratio during ACC competition with a 2.27 mark. A catalyst of the Wolfpack offense, Konig averaged 10.4 points and 3.7 assists per game during the regular season, and she ranked fifth in the ACC in three-point field-goal percentage with a .352 (70-of-199) clip. She remains one of just five players in program history with 200+ career three pointers and ranks second in NC State history in career threes (284).

Jakia Brown-Turner • Freshman • Wing
Brown-Turner started in 28 of 29 games for the Wolfpack during her rookie campaign. A native of Oxon Hill, Md., she averaged 9.4 points per game during the 2019-20 regular season and shot an impressive 104-of-246 (.423) from the field. With 273 points so far this season, her scoring total ranks just outside of the top 15 among all freshmen in program history. Brown-Turner scored in double figures in 11 of 18 ACC games. She tallied a career-high 18 points in two conference outings, including hitting the game-winning jumper in the Wolfpack's victory over Miami.

Jada Boyd • Freshman • Forward
Boyd put together an efficient freshman season during which she compiled 7.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while averaging 15.8 minutes of action. The Petersburg, Va., native proved to be a valuable sixth player for the Wolfpack as she came off the bench to score in double figures in seven conference games and 10 outings total. Boyd posted a double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds) in her first game in NC State uniform and shot better than 50 percent from the field in nine outings (minimum four attempts).

NC State earned the No. 2 seed at the upcoming ACC Tournament and opens postseason play in Greensboro, N.C., on Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m. The Wolfpack will take on one of three teams - No. 7 seed Georgia Tech, No. 10 seed Notre Dame or No. 15 seed Pittsburgh - depending on how the earlier rounds of the tournament pan out. Friday's game will be broadcast live on the ACC's Regional Sports Networks.
