Congrats to the team. I really believe we deserve the ranking. However, we all know that we need to keep winning or we will drop out. Game Thursday night is huge. Congrats once again and look forward to the Wolfpack's continued success.

Pack Ranked In Both Polls
RALEIGH, N.C. – Behind its 2-0 start in ACC play, NC State is ranked in the top-25 in the two major polls this week. The Wolfpack checks in at No. 24 in the Amway Coaches Poll and the Associated Press ranking.
This week's ranking marks the first for NC State since the final poll of the 2010 season.
"We are happy to be recognized for the progress our program has made," said head coach Dave Doeren. "That said, our focus will stay the same: improving each and every day and focussing only on the game ahead."
The national ranking will be put to the test this week, as NC State hosts No. 17 Louisville in a national TV showdown Thursday night at Carter-Finley Stadium. The contest will be the first between two ranked squads at Carter-Finley Stadium since 2000.
