NC State senior standout Jaylen Samuels answers five rapid-fire questions following practice.

What's it like, practicing with all that noise?
It's nothing I haven't heard before. We've played in a lot of loud games.  It's kind of annoying to hear that FSU theme... going back and forth, played thirty-fifty times.

It helps us to be able to control the crowd noise, block the noise out, and just execute.

What's it like with Cole Cook?
It's amazing. He's a great player. He knows what he's doing on and off the field.

He's just a leader. A lot of people look up to him because they all know he's going to be in the right place.

Did either of you know that was Metallica being played for the TV show?
No, I really didn't know. I was just goofing off a little bit.

What did you think of the rushing game against Furman?
It's very helpful.

That was a big emphasis coming into the game... just trying to get our running game back on track.

For us to come out of that game with five rushing touchdowns, that's pretty big for us as an offense.

Do you like being the weapon in the red zone?
Yes, in the redzone, all we're trying to do is score.

If the playcall is coming to me, I'm going to try to get in the endzone.  That's what we try to do when we get in the redzone, score.
