COMMIT ALERT: Talented Wideout Stephen Gosnell Picks NC State

NC State landed a commitment this afternoon from 2020 wide receiver Stephen Gosnell‍.

Gosnell, who played last season at Pilot Mountain (NC) East Surry High School, picked the Wolfpack over offers from Wake Forest, Cincinnati, and App State among others.

As a junior he lined up at multiple positions for East Surry, as he was named Northwest 1A Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Gosnell finished the season with 1,189 passing yards and 14 passing touchdowns.  He added 1,080 rushing yards with 17 rushing scores and 17 receptions for 352 yards and seven receiving touchdowns. 

He totaled 41 touchdowns on the season.

Gosnell camped last season at quarterback at NC State, but the Wolfpack is pursuing him as a big-play wide receiver.
