“It’s a little upsetting [to not be hosting], but it is what it is. At this point we’re kind of over it, and we’re ready to go to Greenville and play hard, see what happens.”
“We’ve had about every situation come up this year and we’ve handled some good, some bad. I think that’s good when it comes to playoffs. You know what works and what doesn’t. I think we’re in a good situation right now.”
“It’s always nice, especially scouting reports, knowing what the gameplan is.”
“It means a lot. [Coach Avent] wished me Happy Birthday and congratulated me on my college career so far. Playing for him, he’s all about the players, all about relationships. It’s cool knowing he has your back no matter the situation.”
“You work on it a lot and I try to take pride in it [throwing]. That and hitting, they kind of go hand and hand.”
“It’s fun, it keeps you locked in.”
“We have really good leadership. I feel like we’ve been in a lot of different situations this year, and it will help us.”
