“It’s been awhile. I had a real bad high-ankle sprain. It was really loose and I had to do what was best.”
“It was the Clemson game. I caught a ball and I was going down... as I was going down he hit my leg and I heard a snap. I kind of knew something was wrong.”
“We did x-rays and come up with the injury.”
“I did go through the process [for a sixth year]. I wouldn’t have found out until around this time. It was up in the air and I prayed on it, talked to my family about it... I did what I needed to do. I would have loved to get the sixth year and finish out with my guys but it was God’s plan.”
“The whole staff... I was real confident in what I could do.”
“I wasn’t at the combine.”
“It is what it is. I feel like I had a good day today so I was happy about that.”
“I didn’t sleep last night at all... I was really excited this morning and really excited the whole week, just having my guys back.”
“That was definitely a great moment and I was really happy about it.”
“I met some of my goals. I didn’t hit all my numbers yet, but I felt good about it.”
“He’s very smart. He’s a great leader and someone who really loves his teammates. I definitely love Ryan and everything he’s done for us in terms of coming here and helping us be better players.”
“He’s more athletic than people think. I think he’s a great quarterback.”
“I’ve seen a lot of growth from when I got here. That 2014 class I came in with had a huge impact on this program... there are a lot of great leaders and we left a great legacy here. There will be a lot of great classes who come in.”
“The odds are against me but I don’t look at it like that. Whatever happens, happens. I know what type of player I am... I’m very confident in my abilities. Whether I get drafted or not, I know I’ll be doing what I’ve dreamed of doing.”
