Lewis Decommits From NC State
Findlay Prep (NV) point guard Jamie Lewis has decommitted from NC State. Lewis originally committed to NC State over the summer after also considering Wake Forest and Florida among others.
A source stated Lewis has informed the Wolfpack staff of the news.
Lewis, who missed nearly all of the summer travel circuit with a groin injury, transferred to Findlay Prep after previously playing at Westlake (GA) High School.
NC State landed a commitment from Braxton Beverly after Lewis originally made his decision. Beverly enrolled at NC State this fall and the Wolfpack now have three underclassmen point guards on the roster: sophomore Markell Johnson, freshman Lavar Batts Jr., and freshman Braxon Beverly.
