NC State redshirt senior center Garrett Bradbury is ready for his final game against rival North Carolina.

Opening Statement...
Kinda like what it just said, it was just, it was back to work. We did our best to just move on from the Wake Forest game. We didn't play up to the standard that we have for ourselves that week and came into the Louisville game, had a great week of practice I think across the board.

We came out, and I think it translated on Saturday.

What was your kind of welcome to the UNC rivalry moment when you got here?
It was kind of weird because I redshirted that year and so I didn't travel. I was in the stands actually, which I hated. I was sitting in the stands while my team was on the field. I actually hated that in Chapel Hill.

It was fun because we beat him up pretty bad, but at the same time, I was upset because I was in the bleachers while my team was on the field.

Then when you got to be on the field, what are some of your memories over these years?
The main thing I remember is that fight two years ago, one of their players punched Big T,  and Big T didn’t retaliate, which showed a lot of maturity on his part.

It's a fun rivalry every year in every sport.

In the trenches, how chippy does it get?
Like every other week.

Then from the fans and the students, what do you kind of hear this week?
Yeah, that's the fun part. I mean, I'm not on campus anymore, but that's the fun part for the fans and the students getting into all of it and having bragging rights for a whole year after this game.

Part of your legacy would be beating them three years in a row.
Yeah, that'd be huge.

It's fun to look back on the two years of games that we had wins over them, but we can't really worry about that this week. I'm just going to focus on this week and then look at however many we have over them in a row or the last few years after this week.

What do you see from their defensive line?
They're talented. They have a lot of talent over there and they played a lot of close games.  I think majority of all of their ACC games, although they've only won one of those, has been by a score or two.

I know they lost by three to Syracuse, and they've had a lot of close games. They just haven't finished them. That's encouraging for them because they know they played against everyone in the ACC and been right there.

We just need to focus on us and we know that they have talent over there so if we focus more on us and not on them... that's kind of where we've had success this season.

When you look at the last game over there two years ago, how much of a turning point was that game for you and the guys?
It was huge.

I can't really speak for what's happening over there the last two years, but I know for us, coach Doeren just continued to build the culture and the standard for this program. I think people are seeing that with the people that he's hired here.

You're starting to see it all come together and it didn't happen at first, but it's definitely changing now.
