COMMIT ALERT: Jalen Lecque Picks NC State
NC State landed a huge commitment this morning from Brewster Academy (NH) five-star point guard Jalen Lecque, one of the top prospects in the 2019 recruiting class. He announced his decision at a press conference at his school.
Lecque picked the Wolfpack over offers from Louisville, UCLA, Kentucky, Oregon, Tennessee, TCU, and Texas Tech among others.
The talented guard spent the previous two years at Christ School (NC) where he averaged 20.1 points, 9.3 assists, and 9.1 rebounds a game as a junior.

Lecque, who was being recruited by NC State assistant coach Takayo Siddle, has been a major target for several months and likes the Wolfpack's offensive system which features two primary ball-handlers.
"That would be a good option because I can play on or off the ball," he previously told Inside Pck Sports. "When I have the ball in my hands I'm looking for others and to score as well, but when I'm the two, I can also score as well. So I can switch it up a lot."
Lecque is NC State's first commitment in the 2019 class. The Wolfpack remains in the mix for wings Patrick Williams and Wendell Moore.
Inside Pack Sports will have more from Lecque on his decision in the near future so stay tuned!
